It's a very special day here over at TDB. Our grandfather, aka Grpa, decided to contribute to the Congo Week Edition Music Monday post! When I approached him about contributing to the blog he was super excited and even took the time to hand write his top five songs with a brief introduction about himself.

  

Being that it is in French, I'll attempt to give you a quick translation. His name is Charles-Louis Bongima and he is the maternal grandfather of, well, me. The Congolese band he loves and has enjoyed since he was young, is OK Jazz.
