With a fan base growing by the minute, an upcoming exhibition in Lagos this Summer, and a feature on CNN's Inside Africa, budding photographer Fuji Remet is sure to set the art world a blaze. Oh, and did I mention he's only THREE years old?!!?!
Remet's penchant for photography is heavily influenced by his creative environment; his father, Pius Kugbere Remet, is an artist and graphic designer and his older sister, Onarietta, is also a photographer. Remet's work is a combination of his home life, using family members in his portraits, as well as his perspective of his hometown of Lagos.
Pius just has one wish for his son, as he embarks on his career, " I hope he grows up to become a larger than life photographer, who'll explore his natural platform to impact remarkably on the course of humanity."
Something tells me that Fuji Remet is well on his way to doing just that.
