MUSIC MONDAY: HAPPY MONDAY

This picture perfectly describes how I am feeling right now. Even though I am sick as a dog, I can't help but have a smile on my face. So many fun things are coming up for team TDB and I am beyond excited. No worries, all will be shared soon enough. For now, I'll sit here smiling and share a fun song that hopefully puts a smile on your face.

MUSIC MONDAY: AFROPOP/SOUL

Continuing with my month long female posts for Women's History Month, (read the previous weeks here and here ), I thought this week I would share my favorite Afropop/soul artists, and what I believe is their best song. . It was difficult to come up with this list because there are so many great artists, but I was able to shrink it down to a top 10. Enjoy!

MUSIC MONDAY: JUST A BAND

Kenyan quartet Just A Band  is, well, more than just a band. Daniel, "Blinky Bill", Jim and Mbithi are four artistic visionaries that combine electronica, jazz, hip-hop, and disco, to form their own eclectic sound. In an effortless fashion, Just A Band is able to sing sweet slow-tempo songs, such as "If I Could"  , and transition to the more electro-dance sounding songs, "BoogieDeeBweet", without missing a beat.
