I am so excited to see that African artists have been nominated for Grammy Awards. Can't wait to see who brings home an award in February. Check out the nominees and their songs, below!

ESTELLE |
Senegalese/Sierra Leonean, singer Estelle earned a Best R&B performance nomination for the song "Thank You" from her All of Me album.

WALE
|
Wale's, Nigerian, "Lotus Flower Bomb" featuring Miguel, is nominated for Best Rap Song. It's my favorite song from his sophomore effort, Ambition.

AMADOU & MARIAM
|
The Malian musical duo, Amadou and Mariam, are nominated for Best World Music Album for the Folila album. Their song with Tunde and Kyp of TV on the Radio, "Wily Kataso", is so amazing.

HUGH MASEKELA |
South African musician Hugh Masekela is also a nominee for Best World Music Album. Masekela's nomination for, Jabulani, marks his second Grammy nomination in an over forty-year career!
